BUILD YOUR
CUSTOM
SCOOTER
Stunt scooters are not toys. The parts have to match to the millimetre. This visual guide teaches you the hard rules for SCS, IHC, HIC and dimensional tolerances.
De 3 Kompressions Regler
Compression is the heart of your scooter. It holds the fork, deck and bar together. Choose wrong and your scooter either will not go together, or will come apart.
STANDARD COMPRESSION
INTEGRATED HEADSET
HIDDEN INTERNAL
Bar Indvendig Diameter (ID)
It is the inner diameter that decides whether the bar fits over your fork and compression.
FIND DET RIGTIGE MATCH
Your choice of fork is the foundation. Follow the flow downwards to make sure you buy the correct clamp for your setup.
SCS FORK
Threadless. Built for SCS compression.
IHC FORK
Tyndere stilk. IHC kit indbygget.
HIC FORK
Standard thickness. Requires an HIC kit on top.
SCS CLAMP
Important: the bar must NOT have a slot
STANDARD CLAMP
Double / triple clamp. Bar requires a slot.
OVERSIZED CLAMP
35 mm bars only. Bar requires a slot.
DIMENSIONER & TOLERANCER
FORK ↔ HJUL ⚙️
- Axle diameter: The fork's axle hole (typically 8 mm) must match the wheel bearings exactly.
- Wheel diameter: Your wheel (e.g. 110 mm, 120 mm) must not rub against the arch of the fork.
- Hub width: 24 mm is standard. 30 mm wide wheels require specific forks and spacers.
DECK ↔ HJUL 📋
Your deck dictates the absolute maximum size of your wheels. The brake or fender will block the wheel if the diameter is too big. The hub width must also not exceed the distance between the deck's rear dropouts.
GRIPTAPE ↔ DECK 🛹
The 5 mm tolerance: For the cleanest look, the difference between the griptape's and the deck's width should be under 5 mm. If the griptape is wider, that is no problem – it just takes a knife and trimming along the edge.
Hjul Kompatibilitets Zone
Shows the most common wheel sizes. Always check that your deck and fork support the wheel’s position in the matrix.
